A Day to Honor Mothers & Firefighters

The Pinewood Estates Station 12 Volunteer Fire Company put on a great Mother's Day Pancake Breakfast at the Barnegat Rec. Center. Along with great food, there were Mother's Day crafts for kids and an overall good sense of community. What a perfect way to show support for these dedicated volunteers while enjoying a nice morning out. This week's wildfires should be a reminder to all of us of just how valuable and important every Firefighter is in our community.
Barnegat & Stafford Twp residents & all Fire & EMS agencies are invited to the Fire Company's 1st Annual Open House (on Rt. 72) Sat. May 26th 12-5. Meet the firefighters, tour the fire house, see the fire trucks. Also - lots of kids activities including a visit from Smokey the Bear. And...sample great food from the Grand Opening of "Smokey's Bar-B-Q" (open Fri/Sat Memorial Day through Labor Day.
