Barnegat Brothers Take it to The Mat

Some kids take vacations over the summer, some just hang out and chill. The Peterson brothers Charlie and Dean decided to test their wrestling skills in the Polli-Shore Great 8 Summer Series comprised of 20 Tournaments from June through August. Only wrestling since January of 2009 they have comprised notable records for novice wrestlers.

Charlie has recorded 36 wins and 30 losses while younger brother Dean has a remarkable record of 59 wins and 7 losses and was virtually unbeatable on the mat in the Summer Series (his three losses came at beach tournaments). When all was said and done and the Summer Series had ended big brother Charlie took 3rd place over all for the Cup Challenge Championship in the midget division (68lbs.) and also received the Ironman Award. Younger brother Dean took 1st place over all for the Cup Challenge Championship in the bantam division (44lbs.), he also received the Ironman Award as well as the "Most Outstanding Wrestler Award" and the 10X Tournament Champion Award.
