Premiere Family Event for Barnegat Area This Saturday
Ship Bottom Irish Festival
Summer's over and it is the best time of year to spend the day on LBI. Saturday, Sept. 8th marks the start of the Ship Bottom Irish Festival at 10th Street and Shore Ave. in Ship Bottom. This is one event for the whole family that you won't want to miss! All day quality entertainment, delicious food and beverages, unique vendors, and of course entertainment for the children all have made this event possibly the best in Southern New Jersey.
Ship Bottom's Irish Festival Committee and members of the Ancient Order of Hibernians Division #4 have been working hard to set up a community event rich in heritage. Some of the entertainers scheduled to perform are; Mike Byrne Show Band You don't have to be Irish to enjoy this event. Many good people from Barnegat are involved with this festival, and a percentage of the profits will benefit the Gold Star Mothers, Project Children Organizations, and other local organizations. Admission is $10, and it's money well spent. Show your community pride and come out and enjoy! Disclaimer: We are not responsible for all views posted on this website.
