Get Your Kids Off The Couch & On Stage!
Summer Theater Camp offers something fun and different for kids

"Superstars" & "Showstoppers" Summer Theater Camps are a great experience for performers of all abilities from beginner to advanced, focusing on Dance, Music & Drama. The primary objective of each week-long session is to introduce students to basic music theatre skills. The dance portion will teach kids different styles of dance, such as tap, ballet, jazz & creative movement. Music instruction will teach vocal technique, sight-singing, basic theory & story telling through song. Drama exercises cover different aspects of acting such as voice/diction, improv, & scene study. The best part is at the end of each camp, your child gets to showcase what they have learned & presents their new talents ON STAGE at the beautiful OceanFirst Theatre. The program has been created by Our Gang Players, Inc, and features their distinguished staff of Musical Directors, Choreographers & Dramatic Coaches. Have your child learn from the best! All classes are 3 hours a day for 1 week. Classes & performances are held at the OceanFirst Theater at STAC in Manahawkin. There are 2 age groups (Superstars: ages 6-8), & (Showstoppers: ages 9-12). July sessions are from 7/23-7/27, August sessions are from 8/20-8/24. No audition is required. Sessions are filling up quickly, don't wait any longer! SPECIAL PROMOTION: Our Gang will take class members to see "Annie" as their guests with a backstage tour and a chance to meet with the actors before the show.
